I specialize in translating professional crochet and knitting patterns into Spanish, expanding your reach among Spanish-speaking enthusiasts and boosting your sales.
As a professional translator deeply immersed in the crochet and knitting community, I carefully select terms to ensure patterns are not just clear, but also captivating. Trust me to bridge the language gap, making your creations accessible and appealing to a broader market.
As a meticulous proofreading professional, I specialize in fine-tuning every term and detail to meet the high expectations of Spanish-speaking crocheters and knitters.
My objective is to elevate the excellence of your patterns, ensuring they shine with clarity and precision. By doing so, I aim to provide your audience with the best possible experience, making their creative journey enjoyable and fulfilling.
I specialize in translating your pattern listings, enhancing their visibility on sales platforms like Ravelry and Etsy, and opening doors to a wider audience.
Additionally, I meticulously translate the subtitles of your videos and tutorials, ensuring that Spanish-speaking crocheters and knitters fully understand and enjoy your content.
If you are a crochet/knitting pattern designer, there are compelling reasons to consider translating your patterns into Spanish:
To make the quotation you can send the document to me in PDF, Word or Google Docs, but to make the translation the document must be in Word or Google Docs format. If you use any other format, you can consult me and maybe we can make an agreement.
You must always send me pictures and links to tutorials if you have used them, I must understand the pattern well so that the result would be the best.
I am not responsible for the layout, when translating from one language to another the texts and words are often out of order, and it is not part of the translation process, to keep the pattern looking neat and tidy. Although I will try to make it look as good as possible.
The time it takes me to translate depends on how much work I have. When I give you a quotation and you agree, I will give you an approximate deadline for completion of the work, usually between 7 and 10 working days. It is important that we keep a good communication, in case I need to clarify something, otherwise it could delay the work.
The translation or subtitling service includes the translation and then a final revision or proofreading. When it is ready, I then proceed to send you the translated document or pattern.
When you have it revised and ready to publish, you can send it to me for a final reading at no additional cost.
The cost of the translation depends on the number of words to be translated. The translation cost from English into Spanish is 0.05 eur per word to be translated. But the final cost takes into account other aspects such as the complexity of the pattern, that’s why you should send me a copy for a no compromise quotation.
The translation of a pattern will have a minimum cost of 35 eur.
In the case of proofreading, the cost will be 25 eur per hour. The time it takes depends on the number of errors and the complexity and length of the translation.
The payment is made half upon acceptance of the quotation and the other half upon delivery of the assignment. You can pay via PayPal or with credit card. Just tell me how you prefer and I will give you more details.
I also translate Pattern Listings into Spanish. This way, when you publish your pattern on platforms like Ravelry or Etsy you can also put the description in Spanish and reach more customers, it is an essential step.
When translating your pattern, I use the terms that you prefer, depending on your objectives. This is something we discussed before starting the translation, but I can do it using either Spain or Latin American terms, depending on your choice.
